Sleep Disorder Center

Snoring or gasping while sleeping may be a sign of sleep apnea and may be why you are feeling tired during the day. More than 40 million Americans have sleep apnea and don’t even know it. Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is when you stop breathing or your breathing slows down too much while you are sleeping. This happens because the airway collapses and prevents air from getting into your lungs. Untreated sleep apnea can put you at risk for a number of serious health conditions. The goal is to help open up the airway and restore good sleep.

It is a good idea to talk with your doctor about a sleep study. It takes place while you sleep, measuring air flow, oxygen levels, heart rhythms and brain waves. A doctor that specializes in Sleep Medicine will interpret your study and send a report to your physician. Our sleep clinics make everything easy. Our comfortable hotel-like rooms and knowledgeable sleep techs will get you through your study and help you move on to better health.

We are proud to say that our sleep labs are accredited by the ACHC.
